Good Evening Team Norbert Readers!
As I mentioned this morning, I want to share with you a weekly product review. I used to go to the grocery with Julie, but then the man at the register asked me not to come back. I was a bit miffed because I was in my man-purse, clean cut and completely silent. Oh well, their loss.
Anywhoo, the product I want to review is a hand soap that Julie buys at Whole Foods. Sounds like a dry topic (is that a pun? its like a half pun because the soap requires water – follow?), but this soap makes washing your hands, per Julie, a tickle-me-loopy perky experience.
Here is the soap up for review: EO Peppermint & Tea Tree Liquid Hand Soap
Soap! Soap! Soap! Okay we are not really reviewing the soap but more-so the company behind the product: EO. After smelling this peppy, fresh soap I decided to checkout their website. And I spy with my little eye, some delicious branding/tagline: “Love Life, Live Clean.”
Right away I felt connected because of Julie’s tattoo, which contains words in the above tagline. Momma has a very unique tattoo that combines “Live” and “Love” by simply overlapping the “i” and the “o.” Her personal branding is also novel because the wording is all white. Have a look:
Julie discusses the simple yet profound meaning of these words “Live Love” on the home page of this website. She says the above perma-ink represents a delicate reminder of what is deeply important. Errr, sorry for the tangent…
Soap. EO. The company values aren’t too different from the concept behind the tattoo, and an overall way of being that is holistic, organic, eco-friendly and self-aware. The EO website says:
“Our passion is the creation of the highest quality products that are natural, gentle, effective and free from animal testing. Every product we create is carefully crafted to meet the needs of our clients and their guests. Nothing is left to chance; every detail is considered.
And…
“We believe the formulation of beneficial and synergistic herbs, essential oils and natural ingredients is truly an art form. We work continuously to source natural and organic ingredients using responsible methods. The company is independently owned and operated, is philanthropic and flat out makes good, wholesome product. And I remind you again, no animal testing. Holla!
Consider me for example. I like giving kisses. I am going to lick your hands. Do you want me to lick off chemicals and artificial who-knows-what mixed with goopy manufactured glop? I dunno, maybe I am looking too deep into the soap but I feel pretty passionate about this brand.
The downside? Price. Yeah, it’ll cost you a paw and a tail, but in the long run, the warm-fuzzie-wuzzies you get from using the soap, supporting a great company and taking care of you, your kids and pets, makes it worth the extra penny. Okay pennieS.
