~ Hair-raising Tail

Bonjour Folks!

I wanted to share a Baby Tail with you this morning, BUT that is on hold because instead I have some hair-raising news!

I really wanted the above to be my ‘Saturday Smiles’ photo but couldn’t wait that long. HA!

Back to my news…

Julie had her first class in understanding how to build my new website and we are both more excited than steak tips on Sunday. Um, actually, that metaphor doesn’t work for momma because she doesn’t eat steak. More for me, yesss!

Second try: we are more excited than poop on a puppy pad. Um, okay, no. Gross Norbert. Bad Norbert!

Third try’s a Norbert size charm bracelet: WE are MORE EXCITED than new norbie clothes? napping at noon? Wait, got it. We are more excited than a sunlit chorkie in a basket:

That didn’t make much sense either but its a cute picture so we will rock-n-roll with that.

Thank you again for this gift #1 Mom!

Julie is going to work very hard to get my new site completed. Until that time, my Tails might be a bitty-bit abridged. We are putting all of our creative apple-juices (DO YOU GET THAT PUN?! cause my computer is a MAC a.k.a. Apple) into developing the new site. Do check back daily though because I am committed to giving you updates, photos and short-tails.

Thank you to all!

Uber-electified, Norbert

Umm, excuse me, WHAT IS GOING ON HERE??

My lunch:

Momma’s lunch:

Look at this green healthy goodness above! Where is the fun flavor, tempting texture and luscious color in my lunch? Please don’t mis-understand, I like and appreciate my food, but it isn’t very appealing looking….says the dog who has been know to eat lint now and then. But still! What gives?

I mean the label on my food bag lists all kind of savory and delectable delights, but given a choice, I will take human food any day! My most cherished memory of eating people food is on a holiday called Thanksgiving. Well I didn’t do much giving but I did do a lot of Thanksgetting – getting food that is! Check out my plate of yummy traditional turkey-day treats:

This is what the turkey looked like before it was carved up. Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!

Here are a few shots of me enjoying my very first Thanksgiving dinner, on EXPENSIVE china:

On most days, I eat out of these cute little dishes, so the fine china was quite an upgrade:

And every time, I mean every time momma eats something, I sit quietly at her feet and wait for her to share. She always shares with me and I do a little trick. My tricks will be explained in another tail and boy are they fun!

It has come to my attention that there are lots of food bloggers out there on the world wide web. Food bloggers share: recipes, healthy living passions, weight loss stories, eco-friendly food buying, special diets, and more. Many blogs contain ample snapshots of tasty food creations organized like artwork on a plate.

What are your favorite food blogs to follow? What is your favorite food or recipe?

My favorite blog is by Angela at http://ohsheglows.com/. Ang talks about Food, Fitness, Fashion and Fun! Hey Ang, when are you going to bake up some tasty doggie treats?!

As for my current fav food, it would have to be steak. The first time I tried it, my tail was wagging so fast I thought I was going to float in the air like a helicopter. Momma almost named me after her favorite food: oatmeal. “Oatmeal: Tail of a Chorkie” – yeah, not so much…ha ha. Saint Oatmeal Liv? I think not. Norbert. Done and done.

See you again soon! Let me know if you have any requests or ideas for Tails.

Bon Appetit, Norbs
